What you will be doing:

  • Extending and expanding our backend architecture and writing awesome highly maintainable and scalable code 
  • Working on ensuring our system can work with other cloud vendors in the CRM, accounting, commissions and delivery spaces and can help us realize value for our customers by helping them leverage their investments in existing tools
  • Building robust test code, partnering with our product managers, to ensure  high quality deliverables
  • Help make decisions on the tech stack weighing various considerations including maintainability, current team expertise, scalability, security etc
  • Mentoring other team members and working within the team to realize our product goals
  • Provide input on SDLC best practices with a focus on building a world class software process,  team and product

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong Experience with Python and the numpy and Pandas ecosystem. 
  • Experience dealing with JSON data in large volumes and manipulating information on file systems.
  • Strong experience delivering code that is easily testable and can be maintained by a diverse group of developers
  • Familiar with delivering in highly controlled environments such as accounting or other compliance related applications with an understanding of privacy and security concerns around data
  • Must be well versed with agile environments and working with a distributed team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with using information from systems such as Salesforce, Quickbooks,  Hubspot or other cloud systems.
  • Experience with relational warehouses, ideally with direct experience with MySQL, MemSQL or other similar databases

 

Education:

Any Bachelor’s degree
