Job Summary:

Migration Engineer should be the front-liner handling end-to-end data migration for clients from other billing systems. Solely responsible for the integration of the client’s application with Chargebee and make sure the data migration is handled in accordance with their integration requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers for migration-related instructions/clarifications, primarily via email and phone
• Execute data migrations Data conversion and transformation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exposure to tools like MS Excel/Google Spreadsheets
• Strong experience in logical reasoning Analyze and develop standards and processes
• Work with Engineering on migration tool requirements/improvements
• Understand payment gateway and card vault technologies
• Data conversion and transformation
• Post-migration follow-ups and data cleanups
• Perform data migration audits Migration insights and reporting

Nice to Have:

• Team player, detail-oriented and reliable
• Good knowledge of the principles of customer service
• Experience on any one of these languages: Python, Core Java, Google app scripts.
