Job Summary:
A Software Engineer at Chargebee is the one who can own the creation and on-going governance of our product. You get the onus to develop our product in collaboration with our product design crew, and establish the framework for back end documentation. You will be the subject matter expert to designers, engineers and product managers for all things related to the back end team.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Believes in creating exceptional products using backend technologies

Having a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and design patterns.

Strong techie in Core Java, microservices, spring boot with knowledge in cloud platform.

A technophile writing high quality code & uphold best practices in engineering, security and design

Knowledge hub in building and designing REST APIs.

Collaborator working with different stakeholders across the organization and taking complete ownership in releasing new features.

Experienced professional integrating with third-party platforms, working on billing, payments and related fields is an added advantage.
Skills and Experience:
- Plans for immediate – mid term priorities for own functional area while developing effective strategies to ensure competitive advantage for Chargebee
- Consistently takes ownership to deliver high quality outputs to internal and external customers, while being persistent and resourceful in the face of rejection and complex scenarios
- Is obsessed with delivering a delightful customer experience building a customer first approach as a way of working, incorporating emerging customer needs when solving for problems
- Actively acquires and applies new knowledge and skills to solve for problems in own areas of work; taking calculated risks and iterating fast
- Is a collaborative team member first: Gains support and agreement from different stakeholder groups on intended actions or outcomes
- Adapts quickly to changing work needs & environment, constantly learning new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives
Education and Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience in Software Development
- B. Tech. in Computer Science or related field
Skills:
- Knowledge of programming languages (Inputs to be added based on requirement)
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of application architecture and design.
