Job Summary:

Chargebee is looking to hire a driven and enthusiastic individual to work closely with our customer account team and build a strong overlay for this part of our platform. 

This is a highly commercial role that will tie closely to the retention and expansion of our customers, using the Chargebee Retention product. If you ever want to be a GM, this is a great step because you will have a say across all parts of the lifecycle!

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role will have 5 main components and will report directly to our Global VP, Customers: 

  1. Work actively with account managers on solutioning for customer expansion deals with Chargebee Retention. In some cases, this will involve direct customer pitches and in others cases, it’s providing guidance before and after calls with the account team.
  2. Develop programs and proofs of concept that will move a customer from a Retention POC/pilot to a maximized opportunity.
  3. Work with the current account teams on showing ongoing value of Chargebee Retention to our customers through at-scale or individualized quarterly reviews. 
  4. Produce thought leadership and benchmarking – through roundtables, events, webinars, and internal enablement.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and product on what our customers are facing to help shape product roadmap and unblock unnecessary barriers.

Must Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, customer success, product marketing, or solution consulting, preferably in martech where testing and optimization of offers is key
  • Strong presence and ability to communicate with large customers
  • Strong understanding of software products, including technical aspects and market positioning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to multiple audiences.
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally to drive a unified plan and strategy for the product line
  • Experience with understanding the ins-and-outs of a product and the technology, not having to rely on another person to provide that expertise 
  • A desire to build something from the ground up - this should excite you!
